Mexico Natie is a logistics specialist with extensive expertise in the storage, handling and transport of dangerous and non-dangerous goods.
Mexico Natie provides integrated logistics solutions through the Port of Antwerp. We provide all services, from ship to delivery to the customer.

Mexico Natie is an independent company led by motivated shareholders, each of whom is a specialist in his or her own field within the company. Our history
1871
Mexico Nation is established at the Houtdok / Mexico Dock in the heart of Antwerp. At first the company is engaged exclusively in the handling and transport of wood.
1980
When the company is relocated to Luithagen, Mexico Natie starts diversifying its portfolio with the handling of steel and chemicals.
1987
Mexico Natie establishes the Altamira site and starts specializing in the storage and transhipment of dangerous goods.
1990
Mexico Natie launches its stevedoring activities, which are nowadays located at the Bevrijdingsdok.
2000
The company’s cooperation with Grimaldi results in a joint venture and the construction of the Antwerp Euro Terminal on the left bank of the Scheldt to facilitate roll-on and roll-off services for cars for the automotive industry.
2011
The headquarters of Mexico Natie NV are relocated from Luithagen to Transcontinentaalweg 6 in 2030 Antwerp, next to the Altamira site.
2015
Mexico Natie starts a terminal joint-venture with Sallaum Lines. This terminal is equipped with all necessary tools to handle vehicles, wood products, steel and project cargo.
2016
Mexico Natie acquires Blue Star Storage, followed by the port expansion to the left bank of the Scheldt. The company builds brand-new warehouses and starts facilitating the storage and handling of food and feed products.
2017
Mexico Natie expands its portfolio with value-added services through the construction of a brand-new drumming station for liquids.
2019
The value-added services are expanded with the repackaging of solids at the existing Altamira location.
Mexico Natie launches its facilities for the storage of dangerous goods at Blue Star Storage on the left bank.

Focus on green transport
As a company that attaches considerable importance to the environment, we consistently work on reducing our CO2 emissions by focusing on lean and green multimodal transport. Our newest warehouses are well insulated, and we purchase our electricity from a wind farm in Zwijndrecht.

ISO 9001
ISO 9001 Certified” means an organization has met the requirements in ISO 9001, which defines an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). ISO 9001 evaluates whether your QMS is appropriate and effective to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, while forcing you to identify and implement improvements.



ISO 22000 and GMP+/ BIO
Our food warehouses are ISO 22000 and GMP + certified. ISO 22000 certification guarantees that the general requirements for food safety are met, while GMP + is specifically directed at animal feed. Mexico Natie also offers BIO-approved storage locations for food products.

SQAS
Within the context of its activities in the chemical sector Mexico Natie was assessed for the transport and storage activity. The SQAS assessment verifies that Mexico Natie, as a logistics service provider, satisfies the requirements imposed on the company in terms of organization, quality, safety and the environment.

AEO
Mexico Nation has been AEO licensed for both customs and security since 2012. The customs authorities grant AEO licenses to companies that operate internationally and are able to meet specific European safety criteria.

ISPS
The Mexico Natie terminal complies with the ISPS code. The ISPS Code was implemented pursuant to Chapter XI-2, Special measures to promote maritime security, of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). The ISPS Code is a two-part document that describes the minimum requirements for the security of ships and port facilities.
